Two easy ways to style your hair
Wouldn’t it be great if you could merge all your hair tools into one really impressive styler so you could create any look you wanted, easily, and without fuss, while keeping your hair safe from damage, not to mention massively declutter your bathroom?
Well, now you can.
It’s called the Philips Style Care Prestige Air Styler, and it’s the snazziest new tool on the market. What makes it so unique is its three styling attachments for versatility - a nozzle for gently drying, the round thermo brush for creating volume and the Air Curl attachment for creating soft waves and curls - so no style is out of reach.
And just so you know, Philips didn’t stop there. Each attachment is designed with a protective keratin-ceramic coating, plus the curl attachment also features ionic technology that zaps static, conditions, smooths and increases shine, so while you’re styling you don’t have to worry about causing damage or stripping your hair of its natural gloss.
With the help of Australian Award Winning Hair Stylist, Lizzie Liros, we’re going to show you how to create two easy and on-trend styles using the Philips Air Curl and thermo brush attachments.
Attachment: Air Curl
Starting with damp hair, separate your hair into sections. Then, take your first section and place it through the opening of the Philips Air Styler Air Curl attachment, holding it in place for around 10 seconds.
Next, switch the styler to the cool air setting and hold for a further 10 seconds before releasing your hair to reveal a gorgeous, bouncy curl.
Repeat this process to each section of your hair, until your entire head is curled.
Once you’re finished, tip your head upside down and tousle it at the roots for a voluminous finish.
THE TWISTED SIDE PONYTAIL
Attachment: Thermo brush
With slightly damp and sectioned hair, place the Philips Air Styler thermo brush close to the roots and on the underside of your section, and turn on the hot air flow.
Guide the thermo brush down the length of your section, gently pulling inward as you reach the end of your hair.
Repeat this process until all sections are smooth, and softly blow-dried.
Leaving two sections at the front of your hair, pull the rest back into a low side ponytail.
Take one of the front sections and split it in two. Then, twist together stopping halfway down the length of the section, and pin it in place at the base of your ponytail. Repeat this to the other side front section.
Use your fingers to gently loosen your style and give it volume.
To finish, take a section of your ponytail, wrap it around the hair tie and secure it with a bobby pin.
Which of these styles do you prefer? Would you like to try out the new Philips Air Styler?
