My poor old hair straightener has almost come to the end of its life and I need to buy a new one. I've noticed you can buy straighteners for anything from $30 to $300. What's the difference? What's a good one to buy? Any recommendations?
Szn - it's when you only have a small amount of posts and EVERY one of them is about the same product, within a small timeframe, across multiple threads, then it definitely smells of spam.
There are plenty of us here that have our fave products that we rave about on the forums but we do talk about other things as well and join in the conversation. ;)
Thanks maydayismyday :-)
maydayismyday Thank you for the explanation. Unfortunately I fall in the category of using x favourite brands and singing their praises - will try and be more careful. Thanks ladies for being so understanding and patient with us newbies!
GHD!! My one stopped working on the weekend and out of warranty, so I'm devastated.
My vs sassoon glide straightener lasted me 7-8 years and it works but I just got bored of it. So I purchased the vs sassoon goddess ionic steam straightener. At first I didn't like it but it's actually been doing a good job. I'm still not completely satisfied with it. I want more frizz control.
ghd eclipse, i have had mine for around 2 years now and i love it. it is still good as new and i only have to go over the section twice for my curly frizzy hair which is heaps good since some straighteners in the past i have had to straighten the piece more than 3 times for it to be completely straight.

So much time passed already. What will advise now?
i was going to say GHD but it is so expensive, i never bought it.
i just use my Babyliss.
I have tried many straightners on my curly, fine hair, but I have never found one that dose it's job so well the the EVY Professional I-Q OneGlide Styler. It actually has mineral infused technology that actually puts moisture back into your hair!! It makes my hair feel so soft and nourished, that I could've sworn I had just used a treatment!! I actually ordered this through my hairdresser so I am not sure where you would be able to purchase one?? Hope it helps;)
I brought a glam palm straightener 2 years ago and I have never looked back, it was pricey but it is amazing. It glides through my hair, my hair never feels heat damaged and it leaves my hair looking sleek and silky.
They are sold online and in selected salons.
I have a cloud nine hair straightener and it is amazing!! It was quite expensive but I have had cheaper ones before and they don't last anywhere near as long and damage my hair, whereas the cloud nine has ceramic plates and tames my frizzy hair
I live GHD. They work so quickly in the hair and I think hence more protective and less damaging to the hair.
For my money, I believe the Babyliss Titanium straightener is the best. It's a little pricey (about $130 on Amazon), but it truly gets the job done on any type of hair.
I absoloutly love the ELEVEN Australia hair straightener, I can not recommend it enough it has all the settings on it so you can adjust, it also stops your hair from becoming static and leaves it feeling so soft and silky it is defiantly a must have for you styling tools

Recently I had to change mine and this article was very helpful to compare several models and choose the one that best suited me. If it helps anyone, here's a guide to buying the best hair straightener. https://9best.top/iron-flat/

I bought a Lancôme miniature perfume gift set and a 4mL bottle of La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum was in the set.
Having thick lips that can be dry, I have struggled with matte lipsticks in particular liquid formulas. I have been lucky to found a few brands that offer comfortable and long wear.
Someone you ask for lip balms would be me. My lips have tried and tested almost all kinds of lip balms on the planet. On top of having naturally plump lips, they can be dry and chapped.
