Has anyone ever used this product, and what did you think of it?
Yes I have! I thought it's flavour was very pleasant and it temporarily soothed any sensitivity. I remember it came in some different flavours too. I still have it - it's in amongst my huge array of teeth/dental products in my bathroom vanity and I use it from time to time when I feel like it.
i have this too ! really helped my sensitive teeth !
My dentist gave me tooth mousse for my soft teeth.
It tastes super good! Haha
It sounds really interesting. Where do you buy it?
You can get it from dentists in general - some sell these specialty dental products. I have also seen it online but I got mine from my dentist (they sell all sorts of toothbrushes and products). You may have to ring around a few dentists to find out if they sell it before you go driving around. Hope this helps!
We get our tooth mousse online at http://advancedental.com.au
I love the vanilla flavour! Great for sensitive teeth.
I got the vanilla flavour after I got my teeth whitened to soothe sensitivity, and it was amazing!!! Plus it tastes reallyyy good!
I have used this and it is designed to strengthen the enamel of your teeth. After a year or so, I don't use it anymore as my dentist told me my teeth don't require it. x
So this is not available at places like chemist warehouse or priceline??
Im very interested in this product as i have cronic problems with sensitive teeth
No, it is only available through dentists.
Yes ...this is a very old thread and i did end up getting some from my dentist but that was 8 years ago....LOL
My boyfriend's mum is a dentist and she uses it, does the world of good.
I got this after having my teeth whitened - did wonders for the sensitivity issue. Its kinda like Sensodyne but way better.
I have the strawberry flavour and it tastes amazing
My dentist flogged me $35 for this stuff and within 15 minutes of applying it my teeth were in pain! Im returning it with my next visit.
I purchased some on Friday from a Dentist and paid $24.
Ive used it once and i noticed a huge improvement in how sensitive my teeth are. I love it.
My Miss 15 decided on the flavour so i got the tuttifrutti..lol
I don't have sensitive teeth at all ... but I've got some of this in 'Mint' my orthodontist actually recommended it for the calcium marks (I think that's what their called) on my teeth ... little white specks. It cost me $20 dollars and didn't work! lol.
Maybe I should've used it more often?? I found when I applied it, it felt like it wasn't staying on my teeth long enough to make a difference ... so I kind of got sick of doing it and gave up!
this tooth mousse is fantastic. Unlike your normal toothpaste, it has a formula in it that is proven (by reliable studies) to remineralise enamel and reverse the effect of tooth decay. It is to be used in conjunction with your regular fluoride toothpaste and should be used after brushing, massaged onto all tooth surfaces and left overnight - do not rinse with water after use otherwise you are washing away all the good stuff that needs to dissolve into the tooth and bathe in the saliva.
oh and i put some into my night guard and retainer each night ..the flavours taste great!
Everytime I go to the orthodontist he gives me a new tube of the tooth mousse plus. It's meant to help with demineralisation (white spots on teeth). I've used it as instructed for over 6 months and haven't noticed any difference in the white spots so IF there has been any effect at all, it's been minimal and definitely, unnoticeable. I cannot comment on how good it is with sensitivity as I've never had sensitive teeth. It's a bit tricky to apply and at the moment, I'm not sure it's worth the time, effort or money!
I was complaining to my dental specialist about the difficulty applying the Mousse Plus to my sensitive teeth, and he handed me a tube of Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief and said to apply that to my affected teeth after brushing, it is thicker so is easier to apply, and he said it would be just as effective as the Mousse. It's too early to tell if it will help with the sensitivity, but it certainly is easier to apply!
Toothmousse shouldn't be hard to apply and doesn't necessarily have to stay on the teeth. So long as you don't rinse after applying the calcium proteins will be available in your saliva for the demineralised tooth enamel to uptake. The Pro-Relief contains a compound that occludes (cuts off) the channels in your enamel which go to the dentine which is where you get sensitivity occurring.
I have been using Tooth Mousse for a few years now (love the strawberry flavoured one) and it absolutely does work if you use it properly. It reduced my sensitivity to the point where I can eat ice cream now, and I noticed a reduction in the white spots on my teeth. Didn't completely remove them, but they certainly weren't as noticeable.
I do follow the instructions very carefully and thoroughly and the longer you keep the product in your mouth, the better it works.
I have been using this to try and help repair the enamel on my teeth that I damaged by using whitening toothpaste. It is easy to apply and has helped with my enamel on my teeth. Can not fully repair the damage done but has definitely improved them.
This oil has a very mild and pleasant smell to it. I applied this to a damp face and it absorbed quite well.
This cream has a very mild and pleasant scent.
I got colour matched at priceline for this foundation and i did think it was too dark for me once I tried to wear it at home.
