University of Western Sydney??
Hi All,
Im thinking of doing my bachelor's degree in HR at UWS and wondering what your experience has been with UWS. In particular how "hard" is it lol. Im working full time, no family commitments or anything but i hate studying... i went to uni straight from school i was doing a b science majoring in psyc for 2 years and hated every moment of it. I dropped out, traveled, then went to TAFE got my HR diploma, and now i want to go back to uni. Im not fussed on which uni, i really just want a uni with a not so hard course as i will be doing it part time after work hours. I dont want to be slaving away for the next few years and stressed over it too much.
What has your experience been with UWS? and has anyone done their HR degree there? what did you think of it?
Thanks in advance.

I was excited to be chosen to review these tablets and pleased that Natures Way provided enough for me to trial for a couple of months so I could truly ascertain if they were going to be beneficial
Glowy and beautiful!
A great and affordable sunscreen which has a glowy colour in it.
Such a beautiful foundation
This foundation is the best of the best. I dragged my feet in getting to try it because sometimes products aren't always as great as people rave that they are. This product genuinely is.

That's good.. I didn't experience :)
Hey Bailey, I'm currently at UWS and I'm doing a B/A pathway to primary school teaching (with a major in psychology). At first I hated my degree because I don't like the B/A core subjects (just not what I am interested in). Basically, and I think this applies to all unis and all degrees, if you are interested in your course and you actually put effort into turning up for classes and do your assignments then you should be fine. Which campus offers the course?
Hi Li, paramatta or campbelltown offer the course i want to do... its six years Part time though ! thats scaring me quite a bit !
okay im going to bump this and ask - do you think NOT having a degee is a career limiting move?
Hi Huiwen, thanks for your thoughts. Im lucky enough to have landed a job at a bank as a HR consultant without a degree. Im just thinking the further and further i progress the more doors may close for me. Hmm.
Not sure about HR but I know my sis is struggling to find jobs that she wants to do without a degree. The good thing with working in a bank is that there are heaps of roles so it might be easy to move around without a degree but eventually there will be a point where you can't progress any further or if you want to go for a job at another insitituion you might find yourself competing against people with degrees.
Uni is fairly tough going, so only do it if you are sure its something that you want to do...but in saying that, it will be much easier for you to do the degree whist you are young. My sis is doing a degree now and she is 29 so she is still working fulltime to support herself and it just seems so much harder for her than it was for me doing my undergrad between the ages of 18-21.
Hello everyone! Soon I will go to medical school. Do any of you know of good services that can help me with submitting application there?
If you find it difficult to study or you have no desire to do it, then you can use the service of individual written services: bestwritersonline.com This, of course, will not help you pass the test, but it will help in writing written papers. I use this service myself successfully. For example I am using classyessay. This is a quality service with responsive staff. I hope you find it useful too. Good luck.
I wish BH will go through the forum and get rid of this spam. The spammers are raking up posts which gives them 'status points' in the forum.
They are also annoying me as they should at least cater for the users of the forum. As an Victorian/Australian: College = High School and Freshman is a term I have never heard used in real life and according to me and others I know belongs only in American movies... most people I know would not say 'in my freshman year at college', they would say 'in my first year at uni'.
